Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Stompa account without contacting support. Deletion is irreversible.
How to delete in the app
- Open Stompa and go to the Me tab.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm when prompted.
You must be signed in. If you cannot access the app, email contact@stompa.uk from your account email address and we will verify your request.
What is deleted
- Your profile (display name, handle, avatar, and account settings).
- Your step history and synced daily totals.
- Friend connections and pending friend requests involving you.
- Your challenge participation and personal progress data.
- Push notification tokens registered to your account.
- Stompa Pro entitlements linked to your account (active subscriptions must still be cancelled in the App Store or Google Play).
What may remain
- Shared groups you belonged to with other people remain for those members. Your row disappears from leaderboards.
- If you were the only member of a group, that group may be removed.
- If you were the only admin in a shared group, another member is promoted to admin automatically.
- Anonymised or aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.
- Records we must keep for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security reasons (for example subscription transaction references from app stores), for the period required by law.
Before you delete
- Cancel Stompa Pro in your Apple or Google subscription settings if you no longer want to be billed.
- Leave any groups you admin if you want another member to take over first.
- Export anything you need — we cannot restore your account after deletion.
